Hallo und herzlich Willkommen auf meine Website! Ich heiße Herr Schneider und ich freue mich auf ein wunderbares Schuljahr!
Hello and welcome to the homepage to our German Class. It is such a great opportunity to learn a second language, especially in the modern day. Language is a tool that can be very beneficial. It offers a chance to interact with others and learn about cultures that differ from your own.
Please take the time to explore my site for information about our class. This website has a variety of resources and links for extra practice for German students and parents of German students. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me! I am always available (by appointment) before and after school and during lunch.
Vielen Dank
Herr Schneider

About Me:
This is my third year at Connellsville and I'm very excited for this school year! I was born in Pittsburgh and raised in Butler, PA. During high school, I participated in a foreign exchange program in Germering-Unterpfaffenhofen, Bayern. I then attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, The University of New Mexico's Sommerschule, and took classes at Weber State University in Utah. I graduated with a BSEd in German and a minor in Geography. Since then, I have traveled back to Germany many times and studied at the Goethe Institut - Schwäbisch Hall. I am also currently working on my Masters at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
I have a passion for the German Langauge and Culture (especially food). I love music. I grew up playing a number of musical instruments: Trumpet, Guitar, Piano, and Bagpipes. My favorite bands are the Beatles and Mumford and Sons. When I'm not at school, I'm probably with my family or friends. I like to golf, boat, cook, and travel.
