Hello and welcome to the 2017-2018 school year. I'm Mrs. Furajter McCombie and I will be teaching Environomental Science and Advanced Placement Biology this school year. I'm excited to be teaching freshmen this year and I hope I can make an impact on their learning.

     I graduated from Geibel Catholic High School and furthered my education at the University of Pittsburgh, Oakland. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Psychology. I then went on to work in a clinical microbiology lab at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital for five years. While working there I pursued and received my secondary education certification which allowed me to become an educator here at Connellsville High School. While teaching at CAHS, I returned to Waynesburg University and received a Master of Education Degree with a concentration in Online Learning. 

     This is my 14th year of teaching here at CAHS and I hope we have a great school year!
